A short walk on a country lane led to a field at the bottom of a hill that went on, and on, and on. 1300 feet of climbing today, steeper than we thought we could do, and down again! The earth and the sky seem very close when you are working hard to climb a hill. Step by step, step by step….. How grateful we are for good companions, good directions, and good weather! The reward of the climb was a spectacular panorama of many hillsides, fields and pastures, sheep and cows, and ancient stone walls that stretched to the horizon, leading to some spontaneous song! Praise God from whom all blessing flow Praise Him all creatures here below Praise Him above ye heavenly host Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen!
