Good Shepherd Lutheran Church / Tuesday, June 11, 2019 / Categories: Camino De Santiago Day 7 - Tuesday - Aruza to Pedrouzo June 11th, 2019 The pilgrims are still doing well. Today they have offered some things for which they are thankful. And there are more pictures... I am thankful for being able to share this experience with my husband and for being able to bring my Mother along in my heart. I’m grateful for all the small acts that create the ripple effect for great change. I’m grateful for all the faithful who blazed trails, build gorgeous cathedrals, and set examples for us to follow- for their courage, great faith and the inspiration they provide us. I am thankful for knowing God walks along with me even in the loneliness of losing the love of my life and my best friend. Thankful to share the friendship of all travelers and for seeing the beauty of another part of God’s creation. Grateful for sharing and experiencing God’s wonders with my wife. I'm grateful for all the other pilgims like me, who are here to walk their own Caminos. God is asking me to act in kindness and grace. Being able to experience this adventure together. And grateful for time to reflect on the blessing of family. Thankful for memories of my dad, and for carrying his love of nature throughout my Camino experience. Grateful to be a part of this community. Both the Pilgrims from GSLC and all those walking from around the world. Also grateful for time in solitude to enjoy God’s company. I am grateful to all who have welcomed us as we have walked the Camino from those who work at the cafes to the hotels we stay at. They serve the pilgrims with such Hospitality. I am also grateful to the other pilgrims who travel the road with us. And finally I am grateful to the body of Christ which comes together to show the world the love God has for all people and God’s creation. Grateful for having the opportunity to walk the Camino with this group and for all the support from those at home. I am grateful for the close knit circle of pilgrims and friends we have become on this journey.
